Exhibitions. Open-air photographic exhibition in Plaça Reial, from 5 to 25 March.
The Associació d’Amics i Comerciants de la Plaça Reial are marking their 20th anniversary with the exhibition ‘Línia de fuga’ to convey their social and cultural values to the local community.
The exhibition shows the overall vision of the association, at the same time acting as a declaration of intent for their desire to forge ties with social and cultural stakeholders in the city.
‘Línia de fuga’ is an open-air photographic display by Oak Stories, the Fundació Setba and the Associació d’Amics i Comerciants de la Plaça Reial. It is supported by the Councillor’s Office for Commerce at Barcelona City Council.
The project portrays and contextualises migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Barcelona by narrating the stories of ten newly arrived people in our city.
The exhibition will be inaugurated at the Restaurant Tobogán (Plaça Reial, 10) on Tuesday 5 March, at 11 am.
The participants at the opening ceremony will be Enric Gimeno, chair of the Associació d’Amics i Comerciants de la Plaça Reial; Cristina Sampere, secretary and spokesperson for the association; Javier Corso, director of Oak Stories; Muntsa Vilalta, head of Commerce at the Government of Catalonia and Agustí Colom, Councillor for Commerce at Barcelona City Council.
